The «Fermettes» project, led by the Municipality of Schaerbeek in collaboration with ASBL Renovas, is nearing completion. It aims to revive one of Schaerbeek's last vestiges of its rural past.
The Foyer Schaerbeekois (FSH) will soon offer 6 new family housing units: 3 two-bedroom apartments and 3 three-bedroom apartments.
The site will also feature a nursery to support families, a multi-purpose hall to strengthen social ties, and communal vegetable gardens to foster conviviality and food autonomy.
This ambitious project combines heritage preservation, social housing provision, and quality of life improvements, while also working to build connections among neighborhood residents.
