The Brussels-Capital Region, through perspective.brussels and Solidarimmo, organized the second edition of the Solidary Real Estate Encounters on Thursday, October 8, bringing together over 85 stakeholders to facilitate social projects.

Finding suitable and affordable premises remains a major challenge for many Brussels associations. To address this, Solidarimmo and perspective.brussels organized the second edition of the Solidary Real Estate Encounters on Thursday, October 8. The event gathered over 85 individuals from the associative, public, real estate, and financial sectors, aiming to facilitate social projects by connecting the needs of associations with real estate opportunities and available resources.
Access to affordable premises, financing difficulties, and the complexity of real estate and urban planning procedures often hinder projects in the non-profit sector, particularly for smaller organizations lacking human resources or expertise. Many associations, especially in social action and health, seek accessible locations well-served by public transport.
Launched in June 2025, the first edition successfully connected several stakeholders, including the Garde bruxelloise and the Consortium des Femmes, who found solutions for their premises. This year, about ten associations presented their projects through reverse pitches, outlining their challenges and needs: intergenerational housing, adapted work enterprises, literacy schools, youth support organizations, and home care services.
These associations then engaged with real estate companies, project development support organizations, and representatives from regional and communal administrations. On average, participants established four new useful contacts for their projects. These encounters confirm the existence of real estate and financial solutions, highlighting the need to build bridges between these resources and the associations that require them.
For this second edition, perspective.brussels joined Solidarimmo in organizing the event. This partnership combines Solidarimmo's understanding of associative needs with Perspective's territorial and urban expertise, leveraging their respective networks to foster connections between non-profit associations and real estate professionals. The event aligns with Perspective's missions, particularly its Task Force Équipements and the revision of the Regional Land Use Plan (PRAS), which aims to promote a balance between different urban functions and enhance the quality of life in neighborhoods.
