Having clean clothes is essential for well-being and self-confidence. Facing the difficulties of many people who lack washing machines at home, have small living spaces, or limited budgets for laundromats, the CPAS has partnered with La Bulle asbl. This solidarity initiative offers a van equipped with washing machines, where users can get their laundry cleaned for free.
Beyond the laundry service, La Bulle provides a friendly space. While the machines are running, a team offers coffee and a moment for conversation, helping to break isolation and build social connections.
The first visits will take place on Tuesday, October 13 and Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the parking lot of the Les Hortensias day center, located at avenue de Selliers de Moranville 120 in Berchem-Sainte-Agathe. Dates for subsequent months will be announced later.
To support the project, you can drop off laundry detergent, fabric softener, coffee, tea, or biscuits at the CPAS's social grocery store. Financial donations can also be made directly to La Bulle asbl.
