Le Foyer Schaerbeekois successfully organized its first Senior Musette Ball in Schaerbeek, gathering around fifteen participants in a festive atmosphere.

This Tuesday, November 13th, Le Foyer Schaerbeekois, with the support of Sensibel, hosted its first Musette Ball at the Pôle Seniors. The event was a great success, attracting about fifteen participants, including tenants, staff, and partners.
Attendees sang and danced to a variety of tunes from artists such as Édith Piaf, Joe Dassin, Annie Cordy, as well as classics like the duck dance and songs by Grand Jojo. A tenant from Marbotin shared her memories: « I used to sing that in youth groups! It brings back memories ».

Throughout the afternoon, accordionist Dany led the festivities in a « guinguette » atmosphere, celebrating the seniors who were the stars of the event. The participants' enthusiasm was so high that they are already asking for more.
The success of this initiative, built on strong collaboration between partners, is already inspiring new projects, including a future musical show about Tina Turner.
