Great congratulations were extended to all swimmers from the Bains de Saint-Josse who took part in the '1000 km of Fair Play' initiative, organized by Panathlon Wallonie-Bruxelles from September 14 to 27.
Although the 1000 km challenge was not met, with the pool totaling 386.4 km (an average of 53 lengths of 25m per participant), the general enthusiasm marked the event.
On this occasion, several regular swimmers chose to cover a greater distance than they usually do, demonstrating their commitment.
Several schools also participated in this sports and solidarity initiative.
Special mention was made for a young 4-year-old participant who completed 25m, a significant challenge for her young age.
The organizers expressed their gratitude to all participants.
