From October 12 to 16, as part of Mediation Week, the communes of Saint-Gilles, Anderlecht, and Forest are offering an opportunity to discover mediation within the framework of communal administrative sanctions (SAC) through two short videos.
Mediation is presented as a space for dialogue that allows concerned individuals to express themselves, better understand the impact of the alleged facts, and actively participate in finding a solution.
These videos aim to explain what SAC mediation is, who it is for, how it unfolds, and its benefits for citizens and the community.
The initiative emphasizes that dialogue and accountability are often the best tools for preventing recidivism and strengthening community cohesion, offering an alternative approach to addressing conflicts and administrative offenses.
