The new 2026-2027 season kicked off on Saturday, September 19th, with a convivial day focused on joy, play, and wonder, inviting attendees to rediscover their inner child. The program featured a series of dance and circus performances, creative workshops, activities for young children, an acoustic concert, and a film-storytelling session.
The day began in the Écuries hall with a film-storytelling event, La voix des oiseaux, by Arnaud Demuynck. Taking advantage of the good weather, the circus school of the Walloon Brabant offered introductions to circus arts, from trapeze to aerial silks, followed by a student performance.
In the Écuries garden, the Cie Jordi Vidal presented a dreamlike performance blending dance and puppetry. Meanwhile, in front of the communal house, the Cie Brut Movement staged a 'Punk Opera,' immersing the audience in the behind-the-scenes world of a musical.
Younger attendees enjoyed the 'Doudou Express' by Patrimoine à roulettes, a thrilling ride. The day also marked the 50th anniversary of the Centres d’Expression et de Créativité (CEC), celebrated with a workshop combining movement and visual arts.
The afternoon concluded in the Écuries courtyard with the mixed-genre melodies of Témé Tan. The event thanked the artists, partners, and numerous attendees for their participation, heralding a 2026-2027 season that will largely unfold outdoors and in these spaces.
