The Masters 60 back-to-school event took place on September 15th in Schaerbeek, gathering nearly a hundred students with diverse backgrounds across four programs now housed on the same floor.

Nearly a hundred students make up the four cohorts of the Masters 60 this year, bringing together diverse profiles and varied backgrounds. Communication professionals, individuals undergoing career changes, or recent master's graduates – this mix of experiences enriches these programs offered in the evenings and on Saturday mornings. For this inaugural return to Schaerbeek, each of the four masters began on September 15th with a dedicated opening event. Students were then invited to a joint drink, an opportunity to discover the premises and, most importantly, to get acquainted with other cohorts and the teaching teams. Another new feature this year is the consolidation of the four masters on the same floor, a proximity designed to encourage encounters between different programs.
In Public Relations, the start of the academic year included a presentation of the Master's pedagogy, courses, and practical information. A round table then allowed each student to share their background, motivations, and expectations. This year's cohort again brings together very different profiles, from communication professionals to those new to the sector, promising rich exchanges throughout the year. As networking is an integral part of Public Relations, the joint drink for the four Masters 60 served as a well-chosen initial exercise.
The Master 60 in Cultural and Social Communication (MaCCS/ASCEP) welcomes its third cohort and also inaugurates its first year in the new buildings. The year is now well underway, with students already taking action. Initial courses have led them to the field, notably at BOZAR, while the first reflections on their project-thesis are beginning to take shape. The cohort has also designated two delegates for the Governance course, taught by Virginie Cordier: Vanessa Tellier and Harold Ainadou will represent their colleagues throughout the year.
The Master 60 in Advertising and Commercial Communication marks its third start, welcoming about twenty students this year. Following the opening event, the new cohort quickly got down to business with the first courses on Brand Strategy by Denis De Groote and Fundamentals of Advertising by Bruno Liesse. Work on the project-thesis has also begun. Throughout the year, students will have the opportunity to design an advertising campaign for a brand, product, project, or advertiser, a concrete way to apply their learning and enrich their portfolios.
The Master 60 in Press & Information, for its part, is entering its fourth year, with about twenty students present on September 15th. There was no time for lengthy settling in, as classes began on Thursday, September 17th, with journalistic ethics on the program. A new academic year has thus been launched for the four Masters 60, featuring initial courses, new encounters, new spaces, and new routines, with the staggered schedules officially taking root in Schaerbeek.
