Théâtre Varia launches the 2027 call for applications for the Plateforme Factory, offering paid creation residencies for emerging Performing Arts artists active in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.

Théâtre Varia, in collaboration with the Maison de la Culture de Tournai, Prisme – Théâtre et Centre culturel de Namur, and Central / La Louvière, is renewing its Plateforme Factory project for 2027. This initiative aims to support emerging production by providing workspaces, technical, and logistical support to artists and companies wishing to develop their creative process, experiment, or conduct research.
These residencies, which are paid, are designed as true creation laboratories. The organizers eagerly await applications to discover new talents.
Three calls for applications are available: companion residencies, paid residencies, and the annual edition of the Festival Factory. It is possible to apply for all three calls with a single application file per project leader, respecting a maximum limit of three pages. Eligible candidates are emerging artists or companies (first, second, or third project) active in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation and developing their work in the Performing Arts field.
Applications must be submitted exclusively through the Factory website before November 13, 2026.
